Hi, this is Allison with ResponsAble People
I just finished listening to a podcast with Brene Brown talking to Dr. Sandra Lewis
They were talking about what to do when you experience failure and how people react to failure.
They get a cluttered mind. They start thinking about what if . . . they call themselves names like dummy!
They think about who can I blame for this? They might start thinking I should have
or I shouldn't have . . .
But what if when you have a failure the way that you respond is to Embrace Blankness.
You gather other people so you don't have to be in your own mind all by yourself
and you can think well, what can I do? What do I do well?
You can have an open mind and listen to what the other people suggest.
You may talk about what you learned without dwelling on what went completely wrong
and then you also ask who else can help?
A different way to respond to failure by embracing blankness.
So if you would like some help embracing your blankness if you're in the middle of trying to figure out your next first step, or what to do after a challenge that you just faced contact me
and let's have a conversation about how you can fill blankness with positive thoughts
and move forward into success. Thanks.
